Lena Dunham Cancels Tour Due to Endometriosis

Over the weekend, actress Lena Dunham announced that she’s canceling her upcoming “LennyLetter: American IRL” tour due to symptoms of endometriosis.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Girls star was rushed to the hospital after the Met Gala suffering from what she later described as “the greatest amount of physical pain that I have ever experienced.” Dunham has always been vocal about her fight with the disease and her latest bout required further surgery followed by physical therapy.

Dunham’s six-date tour was set to commence on May 31 but has now been canceled and refunds will be given to those who had already bought tickets.
